Mr
Low Teo Ping elected as ISAF Vice President
We are pleased to inform
you that Mr Low Teo Ping, President of Singapore Sailing Federation
has been elected as a Vice President of the International Sailing
body, the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) for the 2005
to 2008 term.
Mr Low is one of seven Vice Presidents who was elected at the
ISAF General Assembly in Copenhagen on 13 November 2004.
Mr Low’s term
of office is significant considering the large number of sailing
events which will take place in Asia during the period. This
include the ISAF Youth World in Busan, Korea in July 2005;
the hosting of the ISAF Worlds Council Meeting in Singapore
in November 2005; the introduction of the Annual Longtitude
Sailing Series which will cover the countries of Australia,
New Zealand, Singapore, China, Korea and Japan; the introduction
of the Volvo Pacific Race in 2007; and culminating with the
Beijing Olympics where sailing will be held in Qingdao.

(SWE), 2 Honorary Presidents, the King Constantine of Greece
and King Harald of Norway and the other
