Basic Sailing Course
In our Basic Sailing Courses you will get to:

• Sail a crew-served dinghy in wind conditions up to 10 knots
• Rigging, launching and recovery of sail craft
• Capsize drill - sailors are taught how to recover when they capsize
• Man overboard - how to do a man overboard rescue
• Different parts of the sail craft
• Tie different knots and their usage
• International Regulations for preventing collision at sea
• All safety aspect of sailing

This is how the Laser Pico looks

Type of Sail Craft	Laser Pico The Laser Pico is a 2-man dinghy whereby you will learn to be both the Helmsman and the Crew.
Course Duration	2 x Sat & Sun (6 sessions) Sat - 2pm to 6pm Sun - 10am to 6pm (2 sessions concurrently)
Course Requirements	Ability to swim 50 metres with a life buoyancy aid; Must be physically fit.
Course Fees	S$ 192.60 - SAF Yacht Club members (Members) S$ 235.40 - Public (Non-Members) (** Prices inclusive of 7% GST)
