Net proceeds collected will be donated to Rainbow Centre.

Project Lighthouse is an annual SAFYC charity event started in 2006. Since then, the Club has organized fundraising for different charity organizations for the past 2 years.

This year, the selected beneficiary for Project Lighthouse 2008 is Rainbow Centre, Yishun Park School which provides education and training to children with special needs. There will be a Midnight Mass Cycling event in early November and a charity reception to be held on the following weekend. We urge members to participate actively and to give generously for the benefit of the students of Rainbow Centre.

Mid-Night Mass Cycling
Date: Saturday to Sunday, 8th - 9th Nov 08                                                
Meeting point: SAFYC Changi Clubhouse
Time: 2200hrs                                                 
Price: $15 (with own bike), 
          $25 (without own bike)                                                                              

Routes:
30km (Changi Clubhouse to East Coast Park to Changi Clubhouse) 
50km (Changi Clubhouse to East Coast Park to Changi Ferry Terminal to Changi Clubhouse)

Programme Summary:
Cycling will commences at 0001Hrs, fully-supported with clearly-signed routes, wayside marshals, first-aid cover and pick-up vehicles. There will be a celebration treat at the end of the race. Event officially ends at 0600Hrs on 9th Nov.

Shuttle Service:
2130H on 8th Nov – Tanah Merah MRT Station to Changi Clubhouse.
0630H on 9th Nov – Changi Clubhouse to Tanah Merah MRT Station.
